Five months have passed since Cuba closed the border. While being depressed in tourism industry, which is Cuba’s first industry, in September, Canadian Airlines started operating flights to Cuba again.
The destination is Jardines del Rey airport, which is currently allowed to accept tourism in Cuba. Tourists are not allowed to leave the area, but there is no doubt that they can enjoy the resort vacations which is the most Canadians demand.
The flight is scheduled once a week as a vacation plan and package comes with a free Covid-19 coverage and assistant plan, which includes Covid-19 isolation costs and emergency medical care.
I hope that the arrival of tourists will rebuild the economy of Cuba even a little.
